Published: Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

With funding provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic
Safety (OTS) through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Pasadena
Police Department will conduct an aggressive driver program on Wednesday,
December 9, 2009. This enforcement program will be take place throughout the City of
Pasadena from 6:00 am – 4:00 pm.
“Our effort and intent is to save lives and catastrophic injuries,” says Interim Chief of
Police Christopher Vicino. “This program helps us do that and educate drivers about
the dangers of aggressive driving.”
The program is another effective tool provided by the OTS for achieving the Pasadena
Police Department’s goal of reducing the number of traffic collisions resulting from
speeding, red light, and stop sign violations.
