Pasadena Teenager Shot in Head

A 17-year-old Pasadena girl was shot in the head Saturday night at a party, and is now in critical condition, authorities report.
The incident took place at a house party around 10:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Westgate Street. Some 100 people were in attendance of the party. No motive or description of the attacker has been identified yet.
The teen is not believed to have any gang ties. The shooting took place outdoors, and the girl collapsed as she tried to make her way into the home.
Investigators are still gathering clues and looking for witnesses.
This has been the second violent attack reported in Pasadena within three days. A man was fatally stabbed outside a restaurant in Pasadena Thursday evening.
The two crimes did not seem related.
