National Night Out In Pasadena This Tuesday

A National Night Out event at Villa-Parke Community Center on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. will include children’s activities, dancing, martial arts, boxing demonstrations, food, information about summer activities for children and teens, resources for health insurance and neighborhood organizing, and more.

National Night Out promotes crime prevention, builds camaraderie among neighbors and local police, and sends a clear message to law-breakers that communities are organized.

The event is sponsored by Pasadena Police Department, Pasadena Human Services and Recreation Department, Neighborhood Connections Office, Pasadena Fire Department, Pasadena Planning and Development Department, Northwest Programs Office and Pasadena Vice Mayor Victor Gordo.
