Increasing opportunities for bicycle recreation, commuting and running errands are a few of the goals to be presented at the next meeting to update Pasadena’s Bicycle Master Plan to improve conditions and encourage bicycling.
Other goals include improved bicycle safety and parking, and creating a network of bikeways so every neighborhood has an effective route in north-south and east-west directions.
Hosted by the city’s Department of Transportation and Bicycle Master Plan Advisory Committee, the meeting will be Tuesday, May 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Pasadena High School, 2925 E. Sierra Madre Blvd.
Ryan Snyder Associates consultant, will provide a progress report to the Bicycle Master Plan study, and breakout sessions will be held for the public to comment on the action items for each goal and objective.
