Census Reps to Visit District Two Town Hall Meeting Tonight

Published: Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Pasadena Council member Margaret McAustin, District 2, will hold a town hall meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Hill Avenue Grace Lutheran Church, 73 N. Hill Ave. Entrance to the parking lot is from Hill Ave.

The program includes Darryl Dunn, general manager of the Rose Bowl Stadium, and staff who will present designs and information on a plan to renovate and upgrade the stadium.

Representatives from the 2010 Census will also talk about how and why each resident should be counted. The U.S. Census is the primary data used by city, state and federal government to determine allocation of tax dollars. Money for education, transportation, business development, housing, job training, and public services are all determined by the Census count.

A question and answer period will follow. For more information call 744-4742 or mfuller@cityofpasadena.net
