Gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner attended a noon rally at Pasadena’s Green Hotel Monday in his final Southern California appearance before Republican voters decide Tuesday whether he or Meg
Whitman will be that party’s nominee.

The event put on by The Pasadena Patriots, a local Tea Party affiliate, was well attended by area Rebublicans

with standing room only in a small room off the side of the historic Hotel.

Poizner, the state Insurance Commissioner, was heavily armed with his “No Amnesty” background props as he attacked those opposing Arizona’s new immigration law and his personal plans to end illegal immigration and to revitalize the California economy through tax cuts for every business and individual in the state. One attendee who refused to give his name, said that he was a member of the US Army and wanted Poizner to ensure that he would arm those protecting our border from illegal immigrants.
