Well, was the participant total “nearly 6,000″ or 8,300 as another article suggests? How about a little consistency and accuracy in reporting?! If one merely looks up the numbers on the Pasadena Marathon site, total participation was only 6,387 including only 1,083 for the actual marathon event. If you want to be taken seriously as a news source, I suggest corroborating information through various sources. This is Journalism 101 stuff!!
