The Expo at the Pasadena Convention Center is a buzz with P\Marathon activity leading up to Sunday’s big day.

    Well, the link said, “Read more…”, but no additional content was posted, only pictures. Kinda lame. Interestingly enough regarding the lower turnout this year, Israel Estrada was quoted last week saying, “I attribute this to the city allowing another event to put on a similar event two weeks before ours; the LA marathon doing a great job at their marketing and being so close to our event as well, and the economy – some folks just can’t afford as many races. More than anything, I attribute it to poor marketing on our part and the lack of effectiveness of our media partners. Having little money to advertise has left us with less than 6,000 participants as of today.”
