Anti-War Protest at PCC Takes Message to Military Recruiting Office

Published: Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Scores of students, educators and concerned citizens joined forces Thursday lunchtime to march for peace and get back the much needed dollars for education.
Since 2001 one trillion dollars has been spent on two major wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hundreds of thousands of civilians and soldiers on all sides have died as a result of the military actions.
The students were protesting the incredible cost of the military machine when the state is cutting education jobs by the thousands. The Rally and march is a preview of the big event at Hollywood and Vine on Saturday where thousands are expected to protest.
