New Salon and Spa Offers Comfort in an Elegant Setting

Let’s face it, you want to look your best and be pampered at the same time.

Alec Xander’s Salon and Spa which opened just last October features three hairstylists and also offers facials, manicures and pedicures as well as some waxing services. Make up services are also a specialty at Alec Xander’s.

Owner Alex Hovasapian says he decided to open the business in this particular neighborhood because he saw the potential for business from the two immediate cities and the new business center on Valley View seemed perfect to compliment his upscale space.

While small, the salon offers many packages right now as part of their grand opening celebrations. (Hint: Check out this weekend’s official Pasadena Marathon Program for some coupons on some of those offers.)

For less than $30 you can get a manicure/pedicure combination. How’s that for value?
Hovasapian says the product line he carries, high-end L’Oreal – will compliment the stylists’ work in a neighborhood setting that caters to a small village but adds that New York finesse to every visit.

Hovasapian says L’Oreal offers total repair for damaged hair with Ceramide cement that fights five hair problems- Hair fall, dryness, roughness, dullness and those dreaded split ends. This technology replicates the hair’s natural cement and helps repair and strengthen the hair’s fiber and smoothes its surface. Hovasapian says damaged hair loses its cement that keeps it strong and healthy and that L’Oreal laboratories have developed a repairing formula that works similarly to natural Ceramide that fills the cracks, seal the scales and repair the hair.
