With a copy of last week’s Pasadena Independent in hand and on parade for all of Trafalgar square to see, local artist Frank Gallagher took the stage 30 minutes ago in London as part of the Plinth Project. Tune in online right now to see this hometown hero construct one of his famous pots and recite a few of his favourite pieces of poetry.
Many of Gallagher’s friends and other expats of the UK are watching the artist’s plinth performance from just below the stage in London, as well as those back home in the comfort of his favorite local pub and eatery, Brits on Colorado Blvd.
In fact, in a live call with photographer Terry Miller, Gallagher asked that Miller “say hello to all the guys for me”. Regarding his life here in Pasadena, Gallagher said, “I’m living in Heaven.
That’s what they say about California; it’s Heaven. And you know what, Terry, Terry, the people their, they’re the greatest in the world.”
Frank made sure to give a shout to his “hometown newspaper, the Pasadena Independent“.
